One of my most treasured memories is how we all enjoyed last Christmas and New Year together in Spain. I am so pleased she got to spend time with me, Alba, Jaume and his family. We spent real quality time together and did many things. With Jaume’s parents the language barrier didn’t matter. My mum and dad would sing and dance to ‘Viva España’ and everyone would enjoy and join in. Alba adored her and when my mum used to get excited she would shout “Wayhey!” Alba would love this throw her arms in the air and shout “Wayhey!” too. Eventhough, we lived far away, we kept in touch regularly by FaceTime. When my mum was given the iPad she didn’t quite understand the technology and would say “Darling, what you doing in that little box? Stop messing around and come to my house and I will get you something nice to eat and drink.” She always had a caring nature and it was her natural instinct to go above and beyond take care of the ones she loved.
